Anjia Jalac is a Filipino-born textile artist and designer whose practice explores cultural hybridity through garments and soft sculptural forms. She works with reclaimed and repurposed materials as carriers of accumulated life, transforming cloth through cycles of use and reinvention rooted in her own upbringing. Her forms feel grown rather than constructed, occupying the space between garment and soft sculpture, between what shelters and what speaks. Her works move through fashion, theater, television, and live performance, with custom work for clients including Rihanna and Beyoncé, and fabrication for installations exhibited at Triennale Milano and Haus der elektronischen Künste Basel.
